Objective
Discover artistic attitudes and aspects of mathematical applications in real life, either in number sense or graphic type.
Conditions
1. Figures may be used as: polygons, circles, curves varied (conical ,...), sinusoids parallel lines, intersecting, angles, geometric transformations (symmetry, geometric translations ,...), (spheres, cylinders, cones, prisms, pyramids ,...), statistical graphs, numerical expressions, etc..
2. Images can obtain from nature (flowers, leaves ,...), Architecture, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Crafts, Plastic Forms, Domestic and Customary Accessories, etc.
3. Open to all students belonging to the business program Superate Kriete.
First level: students in 9 th (Year)
Second level: Year 1 students in high school (second year)
Third level: Year 2 students high school (third year)
4. Each student may submit a maximum of two photographs.
5. The photo format is required, a minimum of 13x18 cm, and must be delivered conveniently mounted on cardboard or paperboard that protrude two centimeters around the picture.
6. Each photograph must be accompanied by a motto or slogan for the concept or mathematical concept that refers to The picture, presented in a schedule should be included in the participant's name, year and a normal section of study.
7. It will evaluate the mathematical content and the technical and artistic quality, but with more weight, the mathematical expression.
8. It admitted the photographs received by October 11, 2010. The photographs must be submitted in receipt of the Training Center.
9. The Department of Mathematics and guest characters act as a juror.
10. Be granted two awards by Category (1 st and 2 nd Place), may be declared void by the jury.
11. Photos participants or a selection of them will be shown in a photo exhibition to be held simultaneously with the Math Rally.
12. Participation in this competition implies acceptance of its rules and the verdict of the jury that the center sees fit.
