Mosaics. 1 º ESO ratios and percentages
few years ago, students of 1 º ESO IES Meaño in Pontevedra, made a huge number of mosaic pieces made by them . We helped those of 2 and also 3 degrees. We work in a multidisciplinary environment, combining the subject of Technology, 1 º ESO, Mathematics Obradoiro 2 º ESO, and some math class sessions of 1 º and 2 º ESO. At the end we made a statement in which we teach all the games we had and we invite new students next course having fun with us. We shot some video, took pictures, posters ... all participated and enjoyed, not only preparing the materials, also ensuring that the mathematics are more than a few problems, operations, polynomials, equations and formulas. They are hard, difficult for many, but also beautiful, fun and stimulating. We can enjoy them almost without realizing it. I have a very pleasant memory of this experience, and I know my students well. Just use ICT at the time, talk of 2005, although much use Internet to find information.
In this image you just teach a small sample. Now that we have many more tools at our disposal, we will build them digitally with the help of GeoGebra
. Gradually we will teach you how to do so that you create yourselves. Do you like? I recommend
amazing page José Antonio Mora. This image corresponds to one of its interactive activities. A great tutorial to study in detail all the features of the movements in the mosaics.
A marvel!:
Tiles with GeoGebra at the Museum of Ronda. Mosaics dynamic and interactive. Study of tile the plane. Excellent! Do not miss it!
